The total Technical Capacity of Balticconnector is shared between the Technical Capacity allocated for bilateral trading and the Technical Capacity allocated for the gas exchange. Given the low utilisation of the capacity allocated for bilateral trading, Gasgrid Finland and Elering will adjust the allocation shares for the Estonia-to-Finland direction from gas day 25 September 2026 to align the allocation of Technical Capacity with observed market conditions: 80% of the Technical Capacity will be allocated to bilateral trading and 20% to the gas exchange. The new allocation will take effect in the day-ahead ICA session opening on 24 September 2026 at 10:00 EEST for gas day 25 September 2026. Capacity increase on IP Rogatec (HR>SLO) With the commissioning of Plinacro’s Zabok – Lučko pipeline, the technical capacity of Rogatec IP (EIC: 21Z000000000128T) in the HR>SLO direction increased from 30,000 m3/h (15°C) to 100,000 m3/h (15°). From July 2026, the increased capacity is available as interruptible capacity during trial operation; after the use permit is issued, the full capacity will be offered as firm capacity. With the future commissioning of Plinacro’s Bosiljevo–Sisak and Kozarac–Sisak pipelines, the technical capacity of Drávaszerdahely IP (EIC: 21Z000000000249H) in the HR>HU direction will increase from 200,000 to 400,000 m³/h. terranets bw will reduce the exit capacity at IP Basel beginning from October 1st 2024 permanently by 102222 kWh/h. The reason for this is a national obligation by the NRA to reallocate capacities for upcoming auctions.
